Modelling

At uni we have starting going more into our module OUDF505, by looking in to it more I mean we starting going back over how to model in Maya basically just to refresh our minds after the long summer break! By the session next Tuesday we have to have a completed model that looks like this... 





So far I have restarted modelling twice and as it stands at the moment it looks like this... 

Im finding it really difficult to understand all the edge loop lines and where they should be! I think the more I play around with it the more I will start to make sense of them more or at least I hope so! I am looking forward to and determined finishing it, i'm not a huge fan of Maya but not having the time to practice on it over summer has not helped at all getting used to it more. My aim is it have the model finished by at least monday midday so i'm not rushing too much before Tuesday!
